Stakeholder Engagement

In 2023, one of the many engagements conducted included the Greater London Authority’s Infrastructure Coordination Service, they remarked how a number of utilities share data with them in a variety of manners – PDFs, excel spreadsheets, at different frequencies. Taking this onboard, we now openly publish a daily dataset showing future streetworks, complete with geopoints and polygons, accessible via API. This allowed the GLA to seamlessly ingest UK Power Networks’ future works, to coordinate with other utilities and attempt to reduce how often roads are dug up.
